Your privacy

We respect your privacy. This policy explains how Pixel Pantry handles data when you use the app.

Your pantry, shopping list, settings, and preferences stay on your device by default. We don’t show ads, sell your data, or track you across other apps and websites.

Optional features

Some optional features share limited information to work:

• Barcode lookup: sends a barcode number to a product-information service to identify a product.
• Recipe suggestions: send the relevant pantry ingredients and cooking preferences to an AI service to generate ideas.
• Photo identification: may send the grocery photo you choose to an AI service to identify items.
• Shared pantries: are stored in iCloud and available to the people you invite.

We use this information only to provide the feature you choose. Pantry data and photos sent for AI features are not stored on our server.

Keeping the service secure

We retain limited technical and usage information to keep the service secure and prevent misuse. We do not use it to identify you, advertise to you, or build a profile about you.

Your choices

You can manage app permissions in your device settings and delete shared iCloud data from Settings → Delete Account in the app.
