Using Pixel Pantry

Pixel Pantry is a personal grocery-organisation tool. You may use the app and website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms and any applicable App Store terms.

Your information

You are responsible for the pantry information, images, and other content you add. You must have permission to share any pantry data you invite another person to access.

Food safety

Expiry reminders, storage estimates, product matches, and recipe suggestions are organisational aids, not professional food-safety or medical advice. Always follow product labels and official guidance, inspect food before consuming it, account for allergies and dietary requirements, and use your own judgement. Do not rely on Pixel Pantry as the sole basis for deciding whether food is safe.

Generated recipes

Recipe suggestions are generated automatically and may contain mistakes or unsuitable combinations. Check ingredients, quantities, temperatures, cooking times, allergens, and dietary suitability before preparing or serving any recipe.

Third-party services

Some features rely on Apple services, Open Food Facts, and the Pixel Pantry recipe service. Their availability and data may change, and their own terms may also apply. Pixel Pantry does not guarantee that every barcode, product image, or recipe request will return a result.

Availability

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary. The app is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

Intellectual property

Pixel Pantry’s software, branding, interface, and original artwork are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party names, product data, and images remain the property of their respective owners.
